From Laura's very dear friend, the woman she always refers to as, "My Good Friend Patty Schlafer"

My friend Laura (in more professional circles I refer to her as Professor Lo Lo), Happy Birthday! We met decades ago as young band directors and now we sit in our fifties as friends. A true friend is someone who will make you a better person and Laura has been that friend for me. Our days in Mount Hammond with Peggy will always be memorable.
